2011, so far...

i really should just give this thing up, it's been about 8 months since the last post. to be honest i did start a post in may after our anniversary but never quite got to finishing it. so i figure i'll start again...

mark and i did go away for our anniversary this year,a blissful 10 years under our belts. we went to new orleans and had a great time. fantastic city, definitely not for children!!! good food, great scenery, music on every corner...just very relaxing. this is the hotel we stayed in, right in the french quarter, beautiful buildings everywhere.






here are all the maniacs with mem and pop at easter. i think this is the first and last time we got them all to sit together. we will probably try again at xmas...


jacoby turned 3 and had an safari birthday...


he got this helmet, among other things, but i just love his face in this picture so had to post it!!

these are just some randoms from the summer we had:

max played baseball again this year. he made the all-star team!!!


max is playing soccer again, it is his 3rd year. he loves it and seems like he is going to pretty good. he can run like nobody's business, he is still learning the game but they are coming along... the triclops(as they have been very lovingly dubbed) max,sarah and aiden are awesome together.


the boys had a birthday party, we did it together b/c it was such a crazy summer we had 1 weekend to get it in... kane wanted cars and max wanted mario, so we had a combo. it was lots of fun!!


we also went camping this summer, which has made mark crazy. he is obsessed with it now. we actually bought a camper, so we will be on many adventures next year....
my brother in law, justin, turned 30, so of course there was a party....
missy and the twins-gage and grace, who will be four soon, eek!

and we took kane to see thomas the tank engine. he absolutely loves him.....



and finally the latest events..halloween. we had our party again this year. sooo much fun, but i will only include 1 pic from that b/c there were just too many. mark and i were popeye and olive oyl.

new year and new adventures...

so i am going back a little ways first... this was max's first day of school. the first grade already-he is doing great and likes it surprisingly.

just a pick of mark and kane from his 2nd bday party. it was a small party this year.

this is miss kyra jacqueline. my sister's new little one. she was born on sept. she is the cutest little girl, she is starting to look like jacoby a bit more there days and loves to smile!!

this was halloween. kane was perfect as a little devil. he has this face that suits the costume quite well. he was a riot on halloween, running all over people lawns to get to the next house for candy.... he LOVES to eat, so he was in his glory!

max decided to be stealthy this year as a ninja.

we did go to edaville this year and had a really good time. kane had a blast on the train and max rode every ride possible. this is him with his buddy dean from the across the street. they rode the tilt a whirl about 4 times and both of them were feeling in by the last go 'round.

kane got to ride a few things too! as you can see he was really not impressed with this particular ride!

kane and mem and pop. mom is good, still in clear almost 8 years post transplant so we continue to be grateful for each day!!!!

so here are the munchkins at thanksgiving. getting them all to look at the camera at the same time is quite the undertaking, so we tend to settle for at least 2 out of the 4 paying attention.
