Since the new year...

well it has been a busy beginning to the year already. we have been spending some good times with friends and family and have welcomed some new family. as you all know we were able to welcome our newest niece and nephew into the world ( see the last update) and then we got another cutie little boy, brice patrick foster. actually he was anything but little- 9 lbs. he is the cutie tutie belonging to mark's friend brendan and his wife heather. i have to get some really good shots of him, these pics don't do him any justice but in the meantime here are a couple.

here he is with his VERY EXCITED NANA!!!!

mark also celebrated another bday. the old bugger is now 32. he had a quiet birthday. we went to see keith urban the night before @ mohegan sun and got a night away-which was very nice! (thanks mom and dad for keeping max!) this picture is max giving mark the birthday card he made, quite an artistic flair he is showing-makes me so proud!

earlier in the month max experienced his first trip to the movies. he did pretty good. we went to see alvin and the chipmunks-the first in a long line of films i am sure. he liked it, thought the big screen was SO COOL. i think he said and i quote, " i cannot believe my eyes." i swear he is going to be an actor.

this was a shot of max celebrating the pats winning the AFC championship!!!! and they do deserve some celebration after all! they had quite the season!!!
a couple of other note worthy things going on. bri and milt have found out they are having a boy in june. so another grandson for pop-pop! we are planning a trip to Disney in May-CAN"T WAIT!!! i'm already counting down the days. and i am in the beginning stages of starting my own little business adventure, nothing major just trying it out so we'll see how it goes....

first storm of the year...

so we got it....the first snow storm of the year. it was a pretty good one too! i think we ended up with like 9 inches. we got to play in the snow with max today. he was funny, had a heck of a time standing up though. he did some snow ball throwing as you can see below...

then he tried his hand at some snow angel making... we had to tell him to flip over a couple of times and then he was all set...
and of course there were snowmen. it was the perfect snow-nice a sticky!!!
in the event i do not get to put up another post. merry xmas everyone. travel safely and enjoy the day!!! good health and love to you all!!!!!!!

pre-xmas craze...

so the xmas season is here... i am about xmas'ed out already. we started getting ready for the upcoming events by visiting santa at the mall (which is where max thinks he lives) and dropped a small fortune on a couple of pictures. they did come out pretty cute though! after santa he got to go on the train ride, which i think he had more fun doing!!then last weekend we bought our tree and max helped decorate, as you can see he did a bang-up job with the ornaments. he kept insisting the ornaments should be hung off of the bulbs. needless to say we had to do a little bit of re-arranging but we had a good time watching him.

then last week, work had a christmas party and santa called in sick, so i very graciously volunteered mark. (i'm still paying for that) actually he was a really good sport about it. max knew it was him from across the room and now i think he might believe that mark IS santa. he quite seriously asked us if daddy was santa claus. the little girl is avery, she is the daughter of one of the guys i work with, chris. she and max had quite a good time racing all night..

then we had our first snow fall.... a very small amount but enough for max to throw on his new boots and run around in.

to cap off the last week, we did some shopping. max didn't make it into the store, so......
