savannah 2007

well we have returned from savannah, ga!!!! what a gorgeous city....everything we were expecting it to be.....absolutely beautiful, the scenery is just unbelievable. we stayed in the historic district, which is full of every style of architecture you can imagine, which for me was an incredible thing to see. (all those art history classes in college paid off). despite a minor set back-i got the stomach bug one day-we had a good time. we did the tourist thing, A TOUR, but it was worth it. we got see the entire district in 1 day. here are a couple shots from the tour and from us randomly checking out the area.... enjoy!

this is paula dean's restaurant for any of you that watch the food network. people were lined up at 9 am to make a reservation and they don't even open until like 11:30. needless to say we kept on moving along.

the following 2 shots are of the sorrel-weed house. we did a walk through tour of this house. pretty cool. it was on the show ghost hunters.

this next house is the mercer house, where midnight in the garden of good and evil took place.
then there was a little thing we attended, brandy and sticky's wedding.... the fountain is located across from the mansion at forsythe park. the building is the mansion on forsythe park where the wedding took place.. an absolutely breathtaking setting.....

on another note, we have started the process of purchasing "ANOTHER" home. hopefully we actually get to move into this one. everyone keep your fingers crossed for us!!!! at this point the closing is scheduled for april 19th. it is a 3 bedroom cottage on about a half acre lot in fall river. here is the listing picture...it's pretty cute. it's going to need a little bit of updating but not too bad. i will be cursed with ANOTHER STINKIN' PINK BATHROOM THOUGH!!!!!!

max 2006

hi again to all. well ,we are counting down the days to our big trip to SAVANNAH, which i gotta say I am very excited about!!! we will be attending the wedding of my friend brandy, to her sweetie ( we can't wait to meet him ).

I have been looking through the pictures we have been taking of max throughout the last year and I have to tell you, this kid is out of his mind!!!! his newest thing is jumping off of anything stationary, his bed, the couch, mark, he was attempting his bureau the other day, but got nabbed just in time! he did have a spill a couple of weeks ago and has pushed back and killed the nerve of his front tooth. he is lucky he's a cute kid!!! anyway... here are some of our favorite shots of teh little maniac......

the new year

so here we are a new year!!! i, of course, am behind on the well wishes and what not so.... happy new year and good health!!! here are a couple of shots from the xmas season.

here is the little man opening some gifts. he was a ball this year, had lots of fun opening up EVERYONE'S GIFTS.

mark and i just returned from a short trip to florida. a late anniversary and birthday present in one. we had a great time!!!! spent a couple days in disney and did the things we did not get to do when max went with us last time. we ate, drank, sat in the sun, went swimming and to pleasure island, very laid back good time.

mark gave me an awesome birthday present, dinner at narcossi's restaurant with a private boat ride for the fireworks display. he even had some champagne and strawberries on the boat, very nice touch!! it was a great night. next trip....savannah, ga.

HELLO! HELLO! Happy Halloween! Well we all had a fun halloween. here are a couple of shots from a party mark and i went to, we had to dress 70's style, no one got a shot of our kick-butt shoes. mark was rocking some white patent leath platforms and i had the white go-go boots! we had a good time! the shot w/ mark is with Brendan and Dave and the shot w/ me is with my sister-in-laws, Mis and Mel.
as you can see max was a sumo wrestler!!!!! he was an absolute riot. we showed him how to walk around like a sumo wrestler and he did it. too much fun. we took him trick or treating but he pretty much ran the route and occassionally hit a porch for some candy. all in all it was a fun night. well until next time....
